PRN- Central Distribution Tech
Functions under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, Lead Warehouse Specialist, and Executive Director of Distribution Services. Responsible for the functions associated with the supply chain cycle for facilities with Distribution Cooperative, Inc.. Inclusive, but not limited to responsibilities with receiving warehousing, distribution, and the supply replenishment process. Resolves and expedites receipt discrepancies and unacceptable commodities. Input of disbursements into Distribution Software System, provides customer service and proofs and tracks daily inventory discrepancies. May be called upon to drive Distribution Center 26' delivery trucks or courier van to all supply locations in the Distribution Cooperative, Inc. system for supply delivery. In doing so, responsible for making certain medical supplies are accurately and efficiently delivered to each Distribution Cooperative, Inc. customer. Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Must be in good physical condition. Heavy lifting required (50 - 75 pounds). Frequent walking, sitting, bending, pulling and standing required. Limited exposure to bio-hazardous substances. Works indoors and outdoors. Operation of electrical equipment, dollies, other various warehouse equipment.
Education: High School Graduate
Experience: Two years in a warehouse/distribution environment preferred. Inventory skills in an automated warehousing, receiving and inventory environment is a must. 26' delivery truck driving experience a plus.
Other: Must have basic personal computer skills. Valid GA Driver's License. Clean 3 Year Motor Vehicle Report.
